素材について。

ジュエリーで真鍮を使用する場合、変色したり汚れが服や肌につくことがありますので、肌に触れる部分は18金を使ったり、ゴールドコーティングするようにしています。
その他金属に関してはコーティングは使用しておりません。

錫およびピューター作品で使用しているのは以下の金属になります。

錫製品：錫99.9%
ピューター製品：錫90％・アンチモン・ビスマス

銀に似た、やわらかな質感と色合いがほっとする金属です。
錫は毒性が低く安全な金属ですが、そのままでは大変柔らかい性質を持っています。
錫の特性を活かしつつ、硬度を高めたものがピューターになります。

＜錫製品　ご使用にあたって＞

・変色しにくい金属ですが、色が変わってきたと感じた場合は歯磨き粉で軽くこすっていただくときれいになります。
・柔らかい金属なので、落としたりたわしなどで強くこすらないでください。傷がついてしまいます。
・普段のお手入れは木綿など柔らかい布を使用して拭いてあげてください。
・直火にかけたり、オーブンに入れないでください。溶けてしまいます。また、食器洗浄機の使用も避けてください。
・熱伝導率が高いため、冷蔵庫で冷やしてから食品を盛ると冷たさを保ちます。ただし、冷凍庫にはいれないでください。
・酸性のものはご使用にならないでください。変色や変質の恐れがあります。

＜ピューター製品　ご使用にあたって＞

・色が変わってきたと感じた場合は水でしめらせた重曹や歯磨き粉で軽くこすっていただくときれいになります。錫のみで作られたものに比べ、黒っぽく変色しますが、銀製品と同じように年月を重ねた風合いを楽しんでいただける金属です。ぜひ、きれいにしすぎずに楽しんでいただくことをおすすめします。

・酸性のものに触れないようにご注意ください。変色や変質の恐れがあります。

Materials;

I often use brass for jewelry since I like its texture and hue. Unlike precious metals, it sometimes stains your skin due to oxidization as in the case of silver. Therefore I use 18K or gold coating on the parts that directly touch the skin.

For pewter products alloy is used by mixing brass at a rate of 90% along with antimony and bismuth. Since they are lead-free.
The texture and color shade of this metal are gentle just like silver so they give you a sense of comfort.

Tin Usage Note;

・This metal does not tarnish but when you think the color is changing, scrape lightly with tooth powder and it will become clean.
・This metal is soft. So please do not drop it or scrape it strongly with a scrubber not to make any scratch.
・For normal care, wipe with soft cloth like cotton.
・Don’t heat it on an open fire or put it in an oven. Refrain from using a dishwasher.
・Since heat thermal conductivity is high, foods can be kept cold if you cool it in a refrigerator and then place it on a plate. Please do not put the plate in a refrigerator.
